The equipment is used as a termination point for the feeder cable to connect with drop cable in FTTx communication network system. The fiber splicing, splitting, distribution can be done in this box, and meanwhile it provides solid protection and management for the FTTx network building.Optical Distribution Box (ODB) Series is a robust outdoor-rated closure designed for FTTH networks in sin­gle dwelling, multi-dwelling and multi-tenant applications, where it serves as a distribution box for up to 8 subscribers.
Available in two sizes*, the ODB features an internal swing-out panel design with a rear splice area that accommodates a PLC splitter, 10 splices and excess fiber storage, and a front face with a removable adapter plate holding SC duplex or LC quad adapters. The ODB can be securely mounted to a sur­face with 4 screws, accessible only when the cover is open.
